Financial Aid Programs
Financial Aid applications are given to all accepted students.
Many students who attend the Epicurean Institute’s educational programs receive financial assistance via scholarship and loan programs. The Institute has professionals on staff to help students from all countries apply for both scholarships and student loans.
Payment plans are offered by the Institute’s Bursar Office.
Our goal is to provide financial assistance to as many needy students as possible.

Epicurean Institute’s Refund Policy
Tuition, Housing and Food Service
A student who fails to complete the program for which he or she were charged will receive a refund of tuition charges based on a pro-rata calculation.
If the student withdraws during the first 60% of the program. Tuition and food service charges are based on the percentage of the program that has elapsed at the time of withdrawal.
If a withdrawal takes place after the 60% point, full charges remain due.
The refund is determined by the student’s effective date of separation, which is the latest recorded date of attendance.
Prior to registration:
100% of the paid fees (minus the non-refundable deposit of 600 euros).
First 60% of the program:
Pro-rata refund based on the percentage of the program that has elapsed.
After 60% of the program: Full charges remain due.
Please note: A student on an approved short-term leave of absence is not subject to the refund policy.
Return of Financial Aid:
Students who pay their Tuition and Food Services fees with financial aid funds will be required through the refund policy to return unearned financial aid to the proper authority. The same pro-rata schedule is used to determine the amount of financial aid funds the student has earned at the time of withdrawal.
Refunds made on behalf of financial aid recipients are distributed in the following order:
Scholarship Funding Source – Unearned portion of the scholarship is returned to the benefactor.
Student Loans – Unearned portion of the loan is repaid to the lender on behalf of the student.
Note that for any program that is less than 15 days, tuition is non-refundable.
